6 Azure Chef Knife; Twist Pattern Damascus steel, Royal Blue Dyed handle

6" Azure Chef Knife; Twist Pattern Damascus steel, Royal Blue Dyed handle

Sorry, this item has sold.

The listing is for the 6" Chef Knife only.

Twist damascus steel plus a ridiculously gorgeous blue dyed handle is sure to add that pop of color your kitchen needs. Every single knife is different in the absolute best of ways. If you like items that are conversation starters, eclectic, and one of a kind, you've come to the right place! Knife comes with a leather sheath.

What could be better than one of these beautiful knives? Four of them! You can find the other three sizes in the listings. Mix and match to build your own sweet set. We also have other handles in the same style, so go nuts. Be different. Just be you!

Damascus is 7x7 with 5 folds (448 layers).

Disclaimer: These are knives. They're sharp. Make sure what you're cutting is food, not fingers. Flashing a peace sign looks less nice with just one finger. You assume all responsibility for safe use upon receipt.

Damascus pattern and wood grain will vary. Like, a lot. It's a surprise every time!

BLADE CARE:
1085 high carbon and Damascus Steel are great at holding an edge, but will rust and stain if not taken care of properly. Please clean and dry your blade after use, and apply a light coat of oil (gun oil, coconut oil, canola...almost any clear oil) in order to protect the blade and add longevity.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Care instructions

1085 high carbon and damascus steel will hold an edge very well, but they are not stainless steel. It may take on color with lots of use, and should be dried and oiled, if possible, to prevent rust. If you do get some rust, I prefer giving it a quick rub with a very fine (0000) steel wool and it usually easily takes care of it without scratching the metal.

You can use WD40 or rust remover, just be sure to clean the blade thoroughly before use, especially if using it for food.

The key is keeping it dry. Any moisture that sits on the metal will cause rust. That being said, I've had some in my drawer for years with no issues!

I wouldn't go chipping away at rocks, but they're pretty tough and should last you a long time!

    Wedding Party / Corporate Gifts

Everything you see in the listings is in stock, but we may not have the quantity you need. Send me a note with any questions.

    For large custom orders:
These are usually orders of 10+, and you can go full custom. We can do almost any amount given enough time.

You can engrave names or logos on the handles. You can replace my AIM logo with your own etched into the blade, or we can make a custom metal stamp of your logo for the leather sheaths.

Just remember, these are custom made and hand crafted, so we need months, not weeks. The more customized, the more time we need! They look ridiculously awesome, so bring it on!

    Custom and personalized orders

    Yes.

Oh, you want to know more? Just send me a note to discuss your ideas!

    Notes:
-ENGRAVING goes on the wood handles. It's a laser engraver, so burning the image in. It can do fairly detailed images, even your drawn pictures and handwriting. Be creative! Engraving has a quick turn around.

-ETCHING goes on the metal. It looks great on the polished metal, but can be hard to see on the damascus. This needs to be less detailed. Think words, numbers, basic designs. WE ONLY DO THIS FOR LARGE ORDERS (10+). This takes time.

We will do full custom jobs for larger orders, including blade designs, handle materials, custom deep etched logos (instead of the AIM), custom leather stamps on the sheath, etc. Your gifts can be awesome!

Gorgeous knife....so nice and heavy. Purchased for a gift and I know she will love it! The seller is quite funny and shipped this super quickly!

The knife is absolutely beautiful! I can’t wait to give it to my sister for her birthday! Shipping was crazy fast too.

Item is how I expected, the only complaint is the blade was a little rough, I had to sharpen it a few times and there was a lot of black residue that came off. The handle is gorgeous and the engraving is great.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my girlfriend (the account holder) as this was an anniversary gift from her to me. We are both very disappointed with the quality of this chef knife (which I hesitate to call it that, considering how it can't even cut through tomatoes or carrots). The knife was very dull, such that even the local blacksmith was surprised at how dull the blade was for being a new knife. After having it sharpened (which the seller did give a partial $15 refund for) the knife is still unable to hold more of an edge than the ten year old $20 chef knife that I had been using previously. The blade is also too thick (I measured 4mm at the spine, which seems like way too much). The only good thing I can say about the knife is that it looks pretty. Beyond that, it was not worth its price.
